President’s Message

Dear Southern Loss Association Members,

As we move into the summer months, I want to thank everyone for the continued support and involvement in the Southern Loss Association. It has been great to see strong attendance and engagement at our recent meetings, and I appreciate everyone who continues to help make the SLA a valuable resource within our industry.

We are excited for our upcoming June monthly meeting featuring SDII Global and presenter Jeff Fazler, PE, RA, Principal Engineer & Architect. Jeff will be presenting “Residential Construction Defects: Design, Materials and Workmanship,” which will provide valuable insight into common residential construction issues, materials, and defect-related claim considerations. We appreciate SDII Global’s support and look forward to another excellent educational session.

Preparations are also continuing for our annual CE Seminar scheduled for August 13, 2026, at Andretti Indoor Karting & Games Marietta, Marietta, GA. We’re looking forward to another strong event with quality educational content and networking opportunities for our members and industry partners. Additional details will be coming soon.

Across the industry, severe weather activity and increasing claim complexity continue to keep many teams busy as we head deeper into storm season.
