2021 Southern Loss Association Scholarship Program

One of the core goals captured in our mission statement is to further the education of our members. To assist in the education of the next generation, Southern Loss Association is proud to award scholarships to deserving students who have ties to our association.

To qualify for a scholarship, the student must:

A) Produce evidence of enrollment as a full-time student at a post-secondary institution accredited by accrediting agencies or state approval agencies recognized by the U.S. Secretary of Education for the school semesters of Spring 2021, Fall 2021, and/or Spring 2022. Include evidence of current GPA and Classification (i.e. Freshman, Sophomore…) AND either “B” or “C”

B) Be the child, grandchild, great-grandchild, or a legally adopted child of a current dues paid full or associate member of the Southern Loss Association

OR

C) Include a written letter of recommendation from a current dues paid full or associate member of the Southern Loss Association.

We begin accepting applications on August 1, 2021

All scholarship applications must be submitted no later than MIDNIGHT EASTERN TIME, OCTOBER 15, 2021.

Scholarship applications mailed to us will NOT be considered.

Scholarships will be awarded at the December 2021 SLA luncheon.
