President’s Message

“Volunteers do not necessarily have the time; they just have the heart.” Elizabeth Andrew

For those of you that missed our Spring Golf and Tennis Outing, you truly missed a great turnout. We maxed out on golfers and even had a waiting list for several teams – a reminder for future events to get signed up early. While this event is a lot of fun, it is also instrumental in funding our activities, charities, and scholarships throughout the year. I’m very proud to say with your help, we were able to raise over $4,000 for the Lighthouse Lymphedema Network from this event alone.

A special thank you to all of our sponsors who donate their time and money to make this event the best attended insurance industry event in the Southeast! We truly appreciate your support. Please take a moment to review the list below of all those who pitched in and be sure to seek out their services for your claim handling needs if it is the right fit.

I personally want to thank our volunteers and their companies for allowing them to organize the whole thing. They make it look easy, but I can assure you that many hours of preparation and hard work go into this production. To the ladies who make it all happen (see their information below) – THANK YOU!

As a reminder, please visit our website regularly to stay current on the local insurance industry events which are posted on our interactive calendar and if you are aware of any regional events or national events that we do not have posted, please notify an SLA Board Member or send an email to our general mailbox for consideration.

We are also ramping up our social media base to give you another source of information. Please follow our LinkedIn Group “Southern Loss Association”, on Twitter “@southern_loss”, and on Instagram “@southern_loss_assoc”.

We look forward to seeing you this week at our regularly scheduled luncheon on Thursday, May 11th at the Northpoint Diner located in Alpharetta.

Kind Regards,

Robbie Maples
